I really like this paper!
I really like this paper!
After two weeks in the sun I get to come back to wallpaper removal. Fun!
Doesn't look too bad on the wall...
Will be interesting to see what this turns out like on the wall...
All finished and with only one tiny rain shower. Have been very lucky this year with the weather, have managed to get a lot of exterior work done over the last few months...
Definitely a fan of this customers choice of blue, unfortunately the horizon looks very black and bleak so thought it best to down tools before the rain ruins my hard work :)
Well that's the rotten doors looking a million times better, and at a fraction of the cost of replacing them
These doors have definitely seen better days. It's going to be a bit of work, but I'm sure I can get them looking good as new
These doors were painted with a different sort of gloss, one I've never used before, I must say it has the best shine I've ever seen!
Tudor frame houses really do tire me out, constantly having to move the ladder makes for tired arms. Nearly done with this one though...
Apparently 4 years of looking at bare plaster was long enough :)
I recently did some work for the Blind Veterans charity and had the privilege of meeting an awesome man. He is nearly completely blind with just 8% vision in one eye! Even though he can't see the decorating he still takes pride in his home. That was where the charity came in and approached me to redecorate his lounge.
I usually only put the bright and unusual projects that I work on on my site, but this job was an honour and I was incredibly proud once I had finished. This veteran is an inspiration and a brilliant man to talk to and I'm glad I had the honour to help him out :)
Quick wallpaper job to finish off the room
Definitely a brighter space now, painted the brown wood white, and a nice wallpaper too
Couldn't leave half a roll of this paper in a box somewhere so had to find somewhere for it. Downstairs toilet happened to be the perfect fit...
Another finished room, the house is nearly done :)
All the papers on the wall, very pleased with the results!
Time to get the paper on the wall. The customer picked a John Lewis paper with a silver birch pattern. Got the first bits up with the longest being 15ft, should only be easier from here on :)
I'm in the process of painting and papering a hall/stairs/landing. One of the main features will the bannister and hand rail, which I'm in the process of doing black and white. So far so good!
Before
After
Still a long way to go, but I think it will really be an eye catcher when it's finished
